Franciacorta is an area rewnoned all over the world for its sparkling wines. The landscape between Brescia and Lake Iseo is rich in vineyards and charming wine cellars and dotted with important churches such as Abbazia Olivetana in Rodengo Saiano and San Pietro in Lamosa in Provaglio d’Iseo.

DAY 1

Arrival at your hotel in Salò. Meet and Greet. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 (Brescia – Franciacorta) 

After breakfast a half day guided walking tour to explore the peculiar features of the historic centre of Brescia: the Roman area with Piazza del Foro, the Medieval heritage in Piazza Duomo with its cathedral and Palazzo Broletto, the Venetian-style Piazza Loggia with its clocktower. After lunch, we are heading for Franciacorta to visit Bersi Serlini wine cellar: explanation of the wine-making procedure called Franciacorta’s Method and tasting. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 3 (Gardone Riviera – Manerba del Garda)

After breakfast departure to Gardone Riviera for a visit to the Vittoriale, Gabriele D’Annunzio’s House full of original memorabilia and its gorgeous gardens in which there is an open-air amphitheatre, the warship Puglia e other weird artefacts. Free time for lunch in Gardone. In the afternoon transfer to Cantina Avanzi, famous winery in Manerba del Garda since 1931 where you will take a visit accompanied by a tasting of a selection of their wines. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 4  (Bardolino – Parco Giardino Sigurtà)

After breakfast departure to Cantina Tre Colline in Bardolino. Guided tour of the cellar and tasting of 7 types of wines and 2 types of extra virgin olive oils. In the afternoon, departure to Sigurtà Park, one-of-a-kind oasis of green covering an area of 600.00 sqm not far from Lake Garda. Scenic gardens with original box-hedging, pictoresque coreographical settings with gushing fountains, the beautiful Great Old Oak and the Maze will all surprise you! Return to your hotel.

DAY 5

Departure after breakfast.

WINE TOUR IN LOMBARDY AND TUSCANY

Departing from Lake Garda, where it would be possible to visit a wine cellar and oil mill, this tour continues with a magical experience at Castello Vicchiomaggio in Tuscany. There you will taste the evocative wines of this region and will have the possibility to participate to a special cooking session.

Our traditional cuisine has its roots in the period of Middle Ages. Every region has developed during the centuries its typical techniques and qualities. During our Cooking Sessions it will be possible to learn how to cook the traditional recipes such as crostini casalinghi, bread with tomato sauce and “fettunta toscana” dressed with olive oil and Cantuccini with almonds.. A chef will show you how to prepare a selection of Tuscany’s recipes .

DAY 2 (Lake Garda)

After breakfast departure to Gardone Riviera. Visit of the Vittoriale, Gabriele D’Annunzio’s House, full of  memorabilia, and the gardens with the Mausoleum. Free time for lunch in Gardone. In the afternoon transfer to Manerba del Garda and Cantina Avanzi. Visit of the wine cellar ,included a taste of a selection of distillates. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay. 

DAY 3 (Brescia – Franciacorta)

After breakfast departure to Brescia where you will  meet your guide for a walking tour inside the city center to discover its historic monuments dating back to the Roman period and the Medioeval era. After lunch transfer to Franciacorta, where you will visit a wine cellar, including the explanation of the wine-making procedure called Franciacorta’s Method and a taste of a selection of exquisite distillates such as Franciacorta’s Saten. Return to the hotel . Overnight stay. 

DAY 4 (Greve in Chianti)

After breakfast departure to Greve in Chianti. Arrival at Castello Vicchiomaggio. Visit of the castle and the wine cellars. Tasting of a selection of 4 wines such as Rosè or Bianco,  IGT ripa delle Mandorle,  Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Petri, Chianti Classico DOCG, Vin “Santo”, crostini casalinghi, bread with tomato sauce and “fettunta toscana” dressed with olive oil and Cantuccini with almonds. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 (Florence)

After breakfast departure to Florence where you will  meet your guide for a walking tour inside the city center. Free time for lunch and for shopping. Dinner a the hotel, overnight stay. 

 DAY 6 (Greve in Chianti)

After breakfast you will participate to a cooking session “ the secrets of the Tuscany’s recipes”: three hours during which a Chef will show you how to preparare some of the most famous recipe of the cooking tradition of this region. Lunch. Free time in the afternoon for relax. Gala Dinner . Overnight stay.

In these hands-on cooking sessions you will learn how to cook our regional recipes such as casoncelli, spiedo with polenta and much more. The Parco della Fonte’ s chef will show you how to prepare a special Italian dinner. Thanks to this culinary experience you will be introduced into the secrets of Italian dishes and traditions.

The Malpaga Castle is a medieval hamlet immersed in 330 hectares of land. Protected by a large moat, it is a real fortress with an imposing tower embraced by a crenellated boundary wall. In its rooms, pieces of period furniture and well maintained frescoes make the best of themselves.

DAY 1 

Arrival at your hotel in Brescia. Meet and Greet. Free time to discover the city centre rich in monuments and museums: on Cidneo hill, the medieval castle hosts the Risorgimento Museum and Luigi Marzoli’s Arms Museum, or take an espresso in one of Piazza Loggia’ s bars while admiring the clock tower that reminds of the power of Venice over the town for almost three centuries. DAY 2 (Brescia)

After breakfast, you will reach Buonissimo Store in the center of Brescia to take part in a hands-on cooking session. It will take 2 hours to put your skills into practice and be able to prepare an Italian pizza. Free time for lunch and in the afternoon a guided walking tour of the centre with its historic monuments dating back to the Roman period and the Medieval era such as Piazza del Foro, the beautiful Cathedral Duomo Vecchio and Palazzo Broletto. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 (Malpaga Castle – Franciacorta Outlet)

After breakfast departure to Malpaga, near Bergamo and guided tour of its castle rich in beautiful period furnitures. At the end of the visit you will attend a hands-on cooking session divided into three segments: theorical explanation in Tisbe Room, decorated with frescos of 1600; show cooking in the castle’s kitchen; tasting in Colleoni Room. This lesson will enable you to prepare some of our traditional recipes of Lombardy. On the way back to Brescia a stop at Franciacorta Outlet where you have free time for shopping and lunch. Overnight stay in Brescia.

DAY 4

After breakfast, departure to Brescia where you will meet your guide for a walking visit of the centre with its historic monuments dating back to the Roman period and the Medieval era such as Piazza del Foro, the beautiful Cathedral Duomo Vecchio and Palazzo Broletto. In the afternoon, free time for shopping or to discover other important museums of Brescia: the Tempio Capitolino and the Monastery of Santa Giulia, recently included in the Unesco World Heritage List. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 (Franciacorta)

After breakfast departure to Franciacorta Outlet Village. Free time for shopping and for lunch. In the afternoon back to the hotel for the hands-on cooking session. It will take 4 hours to put your skills into practice and be able to prepare a complete menu based on our traditional recipes and learn how to match the Franciacorta’s wines with the typical products of the territory. To complete this experience, a visit of  the wine cellar included the explanation of the wine-making procedure called Franciacorta’s Method and tasting of a selection of exquisite distillates such as Franciacorta’s Saten. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 (Montisola)

After breakfast departure to Sulzano where you will embark for an boat excursion to Montisola, an island located in the centre of Lake Iseo. Lunch at Castello Oldofredi Restaurant. In the afternoon return to the hotel. Free time for horseback riding, cycling or strolling on the lakeside promenade in Iseo. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5

DAY 1 (Bergamo)

Arrival at the airport Bergamo Orio Al Serio. Transfer by bus to Bergamo city center in order to visit with our guide some of the most important monuments such as Palazzo della Ragione, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, il Duomo, Cappella Colleoni, Piazza Vecchia. We proceed with the visit of Bergamo Bassa, with its treasures sprinkled along the street “Sentierone” between San Leonardo and Pignolo. Rise with the cable car to Bergamo Alta. Departure to Cocca Hotel Royal Thai and Spa (Iseo Lake). Meet and Greet . Dinner and overnight stay. 

DAY 2 (Brescia)

 After breakfast, departure to Brescia where you will meet your guide for a  walking visit of the centre with its historic monuments dating back to the Roman period and the Medioeval era such as Piazza del Foro, the beautiful Cathedral Duomo Vecchio and Palazzo Broletto. In the afternoon you will take part in a hands-on Cooking Session: 2 hours to put your skills into practice and be able to prepare an italian pizza. Return to Iseo. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 (Grumello del Monte – Monteisola)

After breakfast, departure to Grumello del Monte (Bergamo), an interesting medioeval hamlet in an elevated position, from where it is possible to see the old castle of the Gonzaga’s Family, transformed in the 1600 in a residential villa. Guide tour of the castle and taste of a selection of wines in the wine cellar of the castle. At the end lunch with typical local dishes such us cheeses and cold cuts of Bergamo and the famous “polenta”. In the afternoon we will reach Sarzana to have an excursion by boat for Monteisola, an island located in the centre of Iseo Lake. Return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 (Franciacorta)

 After Breakfast departure to Franciacorta, a famous area rewnoned for its sparkling wines. You will visit a wine cellar, including the explanation of the wine-making procedure called Franciacorta’s Method and a taste of a selection of exquisite distillates such as Franciacorta’s Saten. In the afternoon cooking session at Cocca Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 (Milano)

After Breakfast departure in order to reach your hotel in Milano. Arrival in the Italian capital of fashion and business meeting with  your guide for a walking tour in the city center to admire  some of its  most important features such as Piazza Duomo with its imponent cathedral (individual entrance to the Dome), Corso Vittorio Emanuele and its glamour shops, Piazza della Scala, the ancient trader’s piazza and Via Dante. Furthermore, you will have the possibility to visit Castello Sforzesco and its wonderful gardens. This big castle was built during the Medioeval time and was the former  Sforza’s Family residential palace, one of the symbols of Milan.  In the afternoon, time at your disposal for shopping or for a visit to one of the art exhibitions inside Palazzo Reale or other outstanding Museums. In the evening aperitiv-dinner in a typical pub of Milano. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 (Alba – Bra)

After breakfast departure to Alba to visit this town famous for its towers and chocolate. Guided tour of the city center:  torre Astesiano, torre Sineo and  torre Bonino, Bel San Domenico, the Cathedral fo  San Lorenzo, The church of  Maddalena. Lunch at typical restaurant. In the afternoon we will pass by bus the countryside of Barbaresco, declared  one of the “100 Borghi più Belli d’Italia”, also famous for its 4 wines  (Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Barbera e Moscato). The last stop will be in Treiso to admire the panorama of “Rocche dei Sette Fratelli”. Return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
